The Funding Development Team in the Office of Research and Project Administration is focused on identifying funding opportunities tailored to the needs of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s research community and provides training on grantsmanship best practices. Through its Funding Development Team it provides directed, customized funding searches based on individual or departmental needs, and proactively informs investigators of funding opportunities compatible with their research interests. In addition, the Grants and Contracts unit offers resources and review services to enhance proposal fundability, coordination for complex funding mechanisms, and training and outreach services to improve understanding of the funding process.
A Funding Opportunities Weekly email listing current funding opportunities from various sponsors, including federal, state, and private grants, is distributed weekly to the Memorial Sloan Kettering research community. Each listing includes information such as award amount, deadlines, and any specific eligibility criteria.
