Applicants who are interested in working on mechanisms involved in post-translational protein modification or RNA processing are always encouraged to apply for Postdoctoral Fellow positions in the lab. While many projects are in various stages of development, several offer unique opportunities to harness genetic, biochemical, x-ray crystallographic, and cryo-EM methods to elucidate the functional importance of these pathways.

Candidates should have experience in protein biochemistry, recombinant protein expression, and/or related molecular techniques. Training in structural biology is not a requirement.

Posts will be held in the Structural Biology Program at Sloan Kettering Institute in New York City with a competitive salary. Housing assistance can be provided. Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the art facilities for structural biology and protein chemistry research.

We are ideally located within a large biomedical center extending along York Avenue between 65th and 72nd Streets on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The center’s institutions, which are committed to research training, include Cornell University Weill Medical College, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and The Rockefeller University, all of which contribute to a very exciting and stimulating environment for research.
