Education

B. Tech, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras

I graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras with a bachelor of technology in biotechnology degree. My research interests lie in immunology, specifically understanding the role of the immune system in cancer. At Gerstner Sloan Kettering, my research focuses on genetic strategies to enhance the efficacy of immunotherapy in cancer.

As a graduate student, I have had the privilege of observing and learning from some of the pioneers in the fields of immunotherapy and biological sciences. Additionally, the proximity of the hospital allows for numerous opportunities to interact with clinicians and learn from their perspectives. This experience has provided me with a wealth of questions to further investigate in my research career.
