Tobias is a fourth year medical student at the University of Freiburg, Germany currently spending one year as a Graduate Research Assistant in the van den Brink Laboratory. He is also a fellow of the German National Academic Foundation. Since he intends to be a physician scientist in the field of Hematology and Oncology, Tobias is interested in investigating mechanisms of malignant disorders, regeneration after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and pathophysiology of graft-versus-host-disease.
