I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department at Bilkent University, in Turkey. I joined the Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2015. I am currently studying the biology of the L1 cell adhesion molecule in normal epithelia and carcinomas. Outside of the lab, I enjoy traveling, painting, and baking.
