The field of stem cell research is awash with opportunities to transform medicine. Our scientists are breaking new ground in developing therapies and disease models based on embryonic or induced pluripotent stem cells. We also explore basic phenomena such as stem-cell pluripotency and self-renewal and study stem cells in the context of both normal development and cancer.
