Mission
The Brain Tumor Center (BTC) at Memorial Sloan Kettering was established as a collaborative research center to promote the understanding of brain tumor biology and provide unique resources in the development of new therapies.
Vision
The vision of the BTC is to create an interactive interdepartmental group of investigators and clinicians with interest in brain tumors, and generate research and preclinical data on primary brain tumors (starting with gliomas) and metastatic tumors to the brain. We aim to promote the translation of basic science and preclinical data into clinical trials and to increase the number of patients with CNS pathology coming to MSK and establish this institution as the leader in the field.
