Dr. Green is a gynecologic medical oncologist and health services and cancer care delivery researcher. She completed her residency training at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and her medical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. Her research interests include using observational data to understand disparities in cancer clinical trial participation and how these disparities may influence our interpretation of new data and shared decision-making in the clinic. She is also interested in improving the care delivery for gynecologic cancer survivors and how to better integrate interventions into the care model to identify at risk patients and reduce long term symptom burden. In addition, she aims to understand how to best optimize cancer care by reducing unnecessary or low value treatments and encouraging the use of high value interventions. She is the PI of multiple trials investigating the efficacy of novel therapeutics for advanced endometrial cancer.
