In collaboration with Dr. Gӧnen and Dr. Moskowitz, Debra works extensively with the Radiology Department, including Body, Molecular Imaging, and Breast services, on studies focusing on diagnostic accuracy of various imaging modalities, tumor detection, inter and intra reader agreement, tumor heterogeneity, and prediction of outcome. Across departments, she works extensively on survival analyses, and has experience with QOL studies.

In addition to the Radiology Department, some of her current collaborations include HPB Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, the Melanoma Service, the Lymphoma Service, Medical Physics, and Critical Care Medicine. Her work spans a multitude of cancer types including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, prostate, liver, melanoma, leukemia, lymphoma, breast, and esophageal. Her research interests lie in adjustments for multiple hypothesis testing, predictive risk models, and the development of reliable, prognostic radiologic biomarkers. She also facilities the Masters Seminar Series for the department.
