Assistant Attending Physicist

As Assistant Attending Physicist in the Department of Medical Physics, I work in collaboration with the Center for Image-Guided Interventions at Memorial Sloan Kettering to improve clinical outcomes and physician workflow with interventions guided by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). My research focuses on pre-clinical investigation of the novel applications of MRI-guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, development and translation of the novel MRI techniques to improve imaging guidance of the MRI-guided biopsies and ablations, and evaluation of the role of radiation treatment planning software in improving planning, monitoring and assessment of both CT and MRI-guided interventions.
