Kathryn (Katy) Easterling is an Associate General Counsel in MSK’s Office of Technology Development. Her responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to MSK’s clinical trials, as well as assisting with intellectual property-related matters. 

Prior to joining MSK in 2022, Katy worked as an IP litigation associate specializing in life sciences and Hatch-Waxman patent litigation at Fenwick & West in their New York office. Earlier roles include serving as an IP litigation associate at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto (now part of Venable LLP) and as part of the stroke research team at Georgetown University.

Katy received her JD from Vanderbilt Law School in 2015 and her B.S. in Neuroscience from the College of William and Mary in 2010. She is admitted to practice in New York and Washington, D.C.
