Kathryn Martin has been Chief Operating Officer of MSK since January 2015. She oversees several functions, including Hospital Operations, Strategy, Human Resources, Digital Strategy and Information Technology, Real Estate Development and Facilities Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal Affairs, and Research and Technology Management.
In addition, she currently serves as Treasurer of the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) Board of Directors and sits on the Executive, Audit, and Legal committees. She is also a member of the Women’s Forum of New York.
Since joining MSK in 1999 as Executive Vice President and Hospital Administrator, she has overseen the development of the clinical expansion plan, the MSK Cancer Alliance, and the opening of many new facilities, including the Breast and Imaging Center (BAIC), MSK Commack, MSK Monmouth, MSK Westchester, the MSK Josie Robertson Surgery Center, and the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Before joining MSK, Kathryn Martin served in a variety of senior leadership posts at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, New York Hospital–Cornell Medical Center, and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.
Kathryn Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Boston College and a master’s degree in urban affairs and Policy Analysis from the New School in New York City.
