I have been a member of Memorial Sloan Kettering’s rehabilitation team since 2003 and currently serve as the Director of Rehabilitation. Throughout my career as a physical therapist, I have enjoyed evaluating and treating patients in a variety of settings; however, the population of patients I am fortunate enough to work with at MSK has been the most rewarding. After many years in the clinical arena, where I specialized in cancer rehabilitation and mentored colleagues, I chose to pursue an administrative track. This lead me to develop business and leadership skills through an MBA program with a focus on healthcare management, allowing me to combine my clinical expertise with administrative knowledge in an effort to improve access to high-quality rehabilitation care through clinical programs and educational endeavors. I am an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Oncology, Acute, and Health Policy Administration sections. I speak nationally on topics related to cancer rehabilitation and contribute to publications in this field.
