After graduating from SUNY Stonybrook with a bachelor’s degree in health science, I went on to serve as a paramedic before enrolling in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at New York University. Through NYU’s diverse network of affiliations, I gained exposure to patient care in both hospitals and outpatient clinics, including the Hospital for Special Surgery, Columbia University Sport Orthopedics, and Bellevue Medical Center. After graduating from NYU, I worked in the area of sport orthopedics before arriving at Memorial Sloan Kettering in 2010. As an inpatient PT, I developed a passion for oncology rehabilitation, which has carried on as I made my transition to outpatient rehab. This passion encourages me to continually gain new treatment skills with support of strong academic evidence.
