Vincent received a BA in economics from the University at Albany, State University of New York, in May 2013. He then joined the Molecular Epidemiology Laboratory of Memorial Sloan Kettering first as summer relief and then as a Research Trainee working with Irene Orlow and her team. Prior to joining the lab, Vincent began working as an intern for the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Department in July 2012 with Ann Zauber on the National Colonoscopy Study and with Jonine Bernstein on the WECARE Study.
His daily responsibilities include processing incoming specimens, assisting with nucleic acid extraction, quantitation and quality assessment, and monitoring freezers. He also assists by preparing laboratory budgets and by purchasing supplies. Currently he is contributing to research studies in pancreatic cancer and in melanoma.
Vincent is excited to be part of the Memorial Sloan Kettering family and happy to be working back home in New York City.
