Understanding the mechanism of action and resistance to PLK4 inhibitors in lymphoma

Plk4 is an essential kinase for centrosome biogenesis, the major microtubule organizing center of the cell. Increased or decreased levels of Plk4 kinase has been reported in a variety of tumor types. While Plk4 overexpression leads to centrosome amplifications, loss of Plk4 function leads to centrosome duplication failure. We are investigating the mechanism of action and resistance to Plk4 inhibitors in lymphoma.
