The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics is engaged in a broad program of research encompassing biostatistics methodology, health outcomes research, and research into genetic and environmental risk factors for cancer. The department also provides collaborative and consulting support to investigators throughout the Center. In addition to these research groups, there is a Computing Resource Group, whose primary activity is the development and maintenance of the institution’s Clinical Research Database.
