- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field required and at least 2-3 years professional experience in a Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Genomics laboratory required. Master¹s degree preferred.
- Outstanding technical knowledge, practical skills and hands-on experience with DNA and RNA methods such as purification, analytical and preparative gel electrophoresis, enzymatic manipulation, design and handling of synthetic oligonucleotides, PCR, sequencing, and molecular cloning required
- Superb technical abilities with molecular and cellular biology assays such as cell migration, invasion, cell culture, soft agar assays, and cell attachment assays
- Experience in mouse colony maintenance, genotyping, and creation of xenografts
- Experience in library construction, sequence analysis tools and genomics databases a plus.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills required
- Creativity, curiosity, and the desire, persistence and ability to create technological advances required
- Must possess a high level of initiative and the ability to work with little supervision.
