I grew up in New York City, so I probably take a lot of it for granted, but I particularly appreciate being able to get some pretty authentic and really good food from many different cuisines. Also, the museums are fantastic.

I really started getting interested in science at the beginning of high school. A number of charismatic teachers sparked me to learn about how life works. Science allows me to come up with new ideas and discuss them with my peers — probably my favorite part of this profession. Of course, it’s also nice when you get some good data too.
