David Jacobson is an Assistant General Counsel II in the Office of Technology Development where he manages a team of three attorneys on the Pre-Clinical Contracts Team. His team reviews material transfer agreements with industry and academic collaborators, confidentiality agreements, sponsored research agreements, data transfer and data use agreements, collaborative research agreements, service agreements, software license agreements, and inter-institutional agreements.

Prior to his role at MSK, David was Associate General Counsel at Northwell Health, Inc., where he served as a subject matter expert on research related issues.

David received his JD from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2012. He received his BA with General Honors from the University of Miami Honors Program, where he was a Henry King Stafford scholar. David also studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in May of 2013, and he is registered with the State of New York as in-House Corporate Counsel.

David completed his LLM in corporate compliance at Fordham University in 2021.
