I am currently an undergraduate student at Baruch College in the City University of New York. At Baruch, I study biological science and English literature. While biological science is a very broad area of study, cancer biology is unquestionably one of the focuses in biology that I have a great interest in. Reading articles and textbooks on cancer biology was the first step towards my interest. When I was offered a research position in the Ronald Blasberg Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I was overjoyed. As a member of the lab, I am thankful for the great mentorship I receive. We examine biological pathways while looking at its effect on cancer cells and its environment. Through study, we look for new treatments which involve making tumors more receptive to immunotherapy. Outside of the lab I love to read, write, and watch films.
