Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Center for Tumor-Immune Systems Biology is focused on developing innovative methods to investigate cancer–immune system interactions at multiple stages of disease progression and deploy tools from systems biology to improve our fundamental understanding of tumor-immune interactions in contexts where current immunotherapies fail and to develop novel strategies for enhancing responses in contexts where they have only partial success. 

Building on the success of our previous Center for Cancer Systems Biology at MSKCC — one of the four inaugural centers in the NCI Cancer Systems Biology Consortium (CSBC) — the Center for Tumor-Immune Systems Biology, brings together an interdisciplinary team of immunologists and computational biologists who are conducting research in the areas of immunotherapy, gene regulation, cancer genetics, and metastasis. The center also conducts outreach activities that encompass a broader interaction with the scientific community and educational opportunities in systems immunology.
