Joanne has devoted her professional life to supporting biomedical research. She has expertise in all aspects of Unix operating systems and High Performance Computing Systems Administration in academic research environments, including systems design, server provisioning, security, scheduling software, data management, network connectivity, email and web services, software application installation and user support. Prior to being a Systems Administrator at MSKCC, Joanne worked as a Scientific Programmer and Research Scientist in genomics and immunology laboratories which gives her a unique understanding of our researcher’s needs and how to support them.
