The newest breast cancer research will be presented at the 2015 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, taking place from December 8 to 12. MSK Physician-in-Chief José Baselga and physician-scientist Sarat Chandarlapaty will present research in the meeting’s press program about the potential of liquid biopsies as a tool to tailor treatment for advanced breast cancer patients. Also, MSK experts, including Clifford Hudis, MSK’s Vice President for Government Relations, Chief Advocacy Officer, and Chief of the Breast Medicine Service, are available to discuss other studies presented at the meeting, including research on experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of breast cancer and premalignant breast disease.
A Twitter chat will take place at 1:00 pm CT on Friday, December 11. The chat will cover research presented at the meeting as well as general topics of interest to breast cancer patients, advocates, and researchers. Follow that chat using the hashtag #sabcschat.
