Major Developments in Radiation Therapy: ASTRO Annual Meeting

The largest radiation oncology event in the world, the ASTRO annual meeting, will take place in Atlanta from September 22 to 25. Featuring new insights and discoveries from leading institutions around the world, this scientific forum will include presentations and data that could affect the way cancer care is planned and delivered.

Memorial Sloan Kettering radiation oncologists Simon Powell, Josh Yamada, and Christopher Barker are all available to comment on meeting news. They are experts in brachytherapy, image-guided radiation, and stereotactic radiosurgery, and are part of multidisciplinary, collaborative teams that are testing new methods to deliver more-effective treatments.
