Today Show host, Hoda Kotb, takes a selfie with MSK’s Department of Facilities in MSK’s Holiday Hallway
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) today celebrates its 26th year of the “holiday hallway.” Each year during December, MSK’s carpenters, toolmakers, locksmiths, electricians, and painters construct a winter wonderland in the basement hallway of MSK for patients, families, and staff to visit and enjoy. The decades-long tradition brings joy and cheer to all and has grown in size and detail year after year. The “holiday hallway” is a labor of love for MSK’s Facilities staff, who give of themselves to create the magical MSK tradition.
This morning, the Today show profiled MSK’s Facilities Management team by showcasing the holiday hallway. Host, Hoda Kotb, came to MSK to help hang the festive decorations and kick off the season by flipping the switch to signify the start of the holidays here at MSK. The holiday hallway will be on display until early in 2020. Throughout that time, admirers can enjoy the lights, the whimsical characters, and the fanciful wintry vistas created to delight MSK patients, their families, and staff.
