Some treatments for cancer may affect your ability to have a child naturally. If you are interested in having children after cancer treatment, please discuss this with your doctors. There may be steps you can take before treatment begins to preserve your fertility in the future.
If you are a Memorial Sloan-Kettering patient and would like to speak with someone to learn about your options for becoming a parent after cancer treatment, ask your doctor or nurse for a referral to the Cancer and Fertility Program.
See our fertility information within our Survivorship Center to learn more about cancer and fertility.
