Christopher A. Barker, MD

I am a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of skin and eye cancers with radiation therapy. I work closely with other cancer specialists at Memorial Sloan-Kettering to coordinate and deliver the best possible care for our patients.

In addition to taking care of patients, I study ways to make radiation therapy more effective, while reducing the side effects of treatment. To do this, I perform experimental laboratory research on the biologic response to radiation. I also work with members of the Medical Physics department to create new ways of giving radiation therapy.
