I am a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist, and my clinical expertise includes using stem cell transplantation to treat blood cancers, particularly lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. I work as part of a multidisciplinary team of transplantation specialists who treat patients with these diseases. My research program includes finding methods to identify lymphoma patients who will benefit most from either autologous or allogeneic stem cell transplantation and developing new transplantation approaches to improve patients’ outcomes. In particular, I’m involved in studies that are introducing novel drugs with activity against lymphoma into transplantation programs, and developing new ways to deliver cellular therapy through transplantation.
