As a physican-scientist and board-certified medical oncologist. I am devoted to the care of cancer patients in the clinic and to gaining knowledge in the laboratory of how cancers develop. My research focus is on the pathogenesis and treatment of prostate cancer. I am involved in a multidisciplinary effort with oncologists, pathologist, and surgeons to analyze tumor tissues and to develop clinical trials. My laboratory in the Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program (HOPP) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center focuses on the study of critical drivers in prostate cancer pathogenesis using cell, tissue, and mouse models.
