I am a radiation oncologist who has extensive experience in caring for people with a variety of cancers. I practice at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care in New York and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Bergen in New Jersey, where my goal is to offer personalized care that is based on science and compassion.

I also treat patients with proton therapy at the New York Proton Center and am a member of the NRG Oncology Gastrointestinal Hepatobiliary Working Group.

Communication is key to maximizing quality of life for my patients. That’s why I always take time to speak with them and their families about their diagnosis, concerns, and treatment goals. I am also in constant communication with a team of experts from many different areas, including medical and surgical oncology, radiology, and pathology.

I have significant experience in treating a wide range of tumors using advanced techniques, including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)/stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), proton therapy, and radiation therapy using the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Guided Linear Accelerator (MRI-LINAC).

My clinical research focuses on hematologic malignancies and gastrointestinal cancers. It involves two main efforts: learning about different malignancies and investigating novel technologies and treatment combinations in clinical trials to improve outcomes and quality of life in patients with cancer. As outcomes improve, many survivors could experience long-term side effects related to their cancer therapy. Our mission at MSK is not only to cure cancer, but also to preserve quality of life after cancer treatment.

Cancer can be frightening, and can shake patients and their families to their roots. I want my patients to know they are not in this alone, and that they have an entire team of experts here to support them.
