For Medical Students: Summer Fellowship Program

The Medical Student Summer Fellowship Research Program is an eight-week research program offered to first- or second-year medical students who have a career interest as a physician-scientist in the field of oncology and/or related biomedical sciences.

Dates for the 2014 Summer Fellowship Program will be posted in mid-October.

  • Overview
    This eight-week research program is offered to medical students who have a career interest as a physician-scientist in the field of oncology and/or related biomedical sciences.
  • Eligibility & Selection Criteria
    First- or second-year medical students in good academic standing at LCME- or COCA-accredited US medical schools are eligible to apply for our fellowship program.
  • Stipend & Housing
    Participants receive a stipend of $5,800 for eight weeks of participation in the program, start and end dates inclusive. Memorial Sloan-Kettering does not provide housing to participants.
