Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's Breast Service is one of the most prestigious in the world.
It provides a unique combination of clinical and research opportunities. Fellows on the service participate in all aspects of the surgical management of breast cancer, and they are encouraged to explore other facets of its treatment through interaction with the medical oncology, radiation oncology, and pathology services. This one-year fellowship is comprised of eight to ten months of clinical rotations on the Breast Service, as well as two to four months of electives in the area of Chemotherapy and/or Pathology and/or Radiation Therapy. The breast cancer fellow will be responsible for pre- and postoperative patient care; he/she will perform operations under the direction of an attending surgeon.
