The SKI Stem Cell Research Facility expands, characterizes and distributes human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs). We are a part of the Starr Foundation-funded Tri-Institutional Stem Cell Initiative that provides shared stem cell expertise and resources between Memorial Sloan Kettering, Weill-Cornell, and Rockefeller University. In addition to characterizing new Tri- Institutional hES lines, we provide :

  • Training in hPSC culture
  • Transgenic hESCs and services
  • Directed differentiation from mouse or human ES cells
  • Shared equipment
  • Reprogramming fibroblasts to induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)

Additionally, we continually refine technologies for genetic manipulation, gene expression and analysis, and reprogramming to offer state-of-the-art services to the Tri-Institutional community.
