Nutrition is a major concern for patients with cancer who may be faced with issues related to proper diets, weight management, and possible changes in appetite and taste.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering's inpatients and outpatients can request a personal nutritional consultation with one of our certified dietitian-nutritionists who will be able to assess a patient's current eating habits, and provide advice on how to evaluate various diets and how best to eat while undergoing treatment.

Patients being treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering's main campus, at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, or the Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion may call 212-639-7312 to schedule an appointment.

Dietitians are also available to patients being treated at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center. Patients may call 646-888-4880/4881 to schedule a consultation.
