Nutrition is a major concern for patients with cancer who may be faced with issues related to proper diets, weight management, and possible changes in appetite and taste.

Memorial Sloan Kettering's inpatients and outpatients can request a personal nutritional consultation with one of our certified dietitian-nutritionists who will be able to assess a patient's current eating habits, and provide advice on how to evaluate various diets and how best to eat while undergoing treatment.

Patients being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering's main campus, at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, or the Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion may call 212-639-7312 to schedule an appointment.

Dietitians are also available to patients being treated at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center. Patients may call 646-888-4880/4881 to schedule a consultation.
