Beginning October 1, 2013, individuals and families will be able to purchase health insurance through the health insurance exchanges/marketplace created by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This insurance will go into effect on January 1, 2014.
As you review the options available to you, you will want to check with the insurance company to make sure the plan you are considering is in network with Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
