The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Transitional Year Residency Program is a one-year internship designed to provide well-balanced graduate medical education in multiple clinical disciplines.
The program consists of 26 weeks of Internal Medicine inpatient service, four weeks of General Surgery, four weeks of Emergency Medicine, four weeks of Ambulatory Care clinic, 10 weeks of elective rotations, and four weeks of vacation.
Your 10 weeks of electives can be selected from the following:
- Critical Care Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Genitourinary Surgery
- Gynecologic Oncology
- Head and Neck Surgery
- Nuclear Medicine
- Pain and Palliative Care
- Clinical Research
- Thoracic Surgery
- Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
- Infectious Disease
