Survivorship Center: Resources for Life After Cancer

At Memorial Sloan-Kettering, care doesn't end after active treatment. Our Resources for Life After Cancer program welcomes all former cancer patients and their families — including those treated outside of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center — and provides a wide array of support services, including:

  • individual and family consultations
  • seminars and workshops
  • professionally led support groups
  • practical advice on insurance and employment issues

Established in the 1980s, the program has since worked with many cancer survivors and family members over the years. The program is a model for programs at comprehensive cancer centers around the country.

Our services address a range of social, practical, and personal concerns, such as advice on insurance and employment issues and discussions for caregivers, or on survivorship as a single person.
