Education & Training
2023-Present: Postdoctoral Research Fellow - joint with Dr. Eric Siggia at Rockefeller University

2016-2022:  Ph.D. student, Biological Engineering, Princeton University, Princeton, USA

2012-2016:  Bachelor’s in technology, Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, IIT-Delhi, India

Research Interests
I am interested in studying morphogenesis during development, a process by which cells move around and organize themselves into robust structures. A classic example is the primitive streak, a transient structure that breaks the radial symmetry of the embryo and mediates gastrulation. I will be using cutting edge imaging, genetics, omics integrated with quantitative modeling to understand the dynamics of cellular rearrangements. The understanding of what drives these cellular rearrangements would help achieve these key developmental events invitro and advance the creation of synthetic embryos.
