Sebastián Carrasco

Dr. Carrasco is a board-certified Anatomic Veterinary Pathologist, Associate Professor, and Assistant Laboratory Member in the Laboratory of Comparative Pathology (LCP) at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). He has over nine years of experience in comparative and experimental pathology with specialization in laboratory animal pathology at institutions including University of California Davis, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, WCM, and MSK.  At LCP, Dr. Carrasco provides diagnostic and research pathology support to biomedical research programs. His work includes the comprehensive phenotypic characterization and validation of animal models of human disease for both basic science and translational preclinical research. His collaborative research spans a wide range of translational areas, including infectious diseases, carcinogenesis, immuno-oncology, aging, toxicologic pathology, drug discovery, and immunopathology.
