Rami is an MD-PhD student in the Satchi-Fainaro Laboratory for Cancer Research and Nanomedicine at Tel Aviv University. His doctoral research focuses on BRCA1-mutated breast cancer brain metastases. He developed radiation-guided, P-selectin-targeted nanoparticles to deliver synergistic therapeutic combinations that address both tumor-intrinsic vulnerabilities and protumorigenic pathways within the tumor microenvironment. His current work uses this nanoplatform to target metabolic dependencies and ferroptosis-resistance pathways in brain metastases.
