Hi, I’m Dr. Maria Luisa Sulis, a pediatric oncologist at MSK Kids, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I care for children, teens, and young adults with blood cancer, including leukemia and lymphoma.
Many people ask me why I chose to specialize in pediatric oncology, and I think the answer is the incredible strength, the discipline, and optimism that young people can exhibit when facing real challenges. That inspires me and everyone around me every day.
At MSK, you will have a team of dedicated professionals answering your questions and helping your child in every way we can. We'll build a care plan with the best science in the world guiding our decisions. And if a new therapy or a clinical trial is appropriate, if a new test is needed, I personally do everything I can to make it available to your child.
When you come to see me, please bring all your questions and concerns. I’ll take the time to answer all of them and get to know you and your family. I'm here to advocate and support you throughout this journey.
You’ll come to see that MSK Kids is a very special place, with truly committed people working together to provide your child with the best care possible. Nothing is more important.
