The Michael Overholtzer Lab

My laboratory investigates mechanisms of normal to tumor cell conversion, with a focus on basic epithelial cell biology, including the process entosis that we recently described. Entosis induces cell death by driving the formation of cell-in-cell structures and may be a novel mechanism of tumor suppression.
