Renato Bauer successfully defended his thesis on diversity-oriented synthesis entitled “Strategies for the Synthesis of Scaffolds Found in Natural Products” on January 28, 2011. Renato’s family made the trip down from Massachusetts for the event! Many thanks to his committee members Profs. Minkui Luo (chair), David Gin, and Hening Lin, and to Danielle Rose for organizing the party!
