Description
This course will offer nursing practitioners a current and comprehensive review of the anatomy, physiology and relevant diseases that occur within the gastrointestinal tract. It will include a broad overview of best practice in the field of gastroenterology through the delivery of current knowledge and skill sets drawn from evidence-based delivery of care. The content will be offered by both physicians and nurses presenting as teams and is directed toward health care providers seeking to remain updated on best practice in the field of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition. Presentations and interactive discussions will focus on both diagnostic and therapeutic advances in the discipline that offer exciting insights into the current and future direction of the specialty.
