People with prostate cancer often experience bothersome symptoms that interfere with their daily routine and quality of life. Integrative therapies can relieve the symptoms associated with prostate cancer and its treatments.
In this workshop, led by an MSK integrative medicine physician, an MSK herbal pharmacist, and an MSK mind-body therapist and martial arts instructor, we will discuss the latest science behind acupuncture and other complementary treatments.
We will also demonstrate how to optimize lifestyle factors, such as exercise and nutrition, including the safe, appropriate use of dietary supplements and herbs. Finally, we will teach mind-body techniques to build strength, improve stamina, and promote resilience.
