In this workshop, you will learn about how barre strengthens your body and mind through low impact exercises. Barre is a technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. Two-time AYA cancer survivor, Lauren Chiarello Mika, will introduce you to safe, effective total body movements targeting the hips, glutes, abdominals and arms. The exercises you will learn can increase your overall energy, physical strength and flexibility. All levels welcome. Bring a light set of weights if you have.
