I am an associate attending physicist and Director of Education for the Department of Medical Physics.
The field of radiation oncology is developing rapidly. To ensure the highest standards of care, it is essential to offer young medical physicists the opportunity to gain valuable research, educational, and clinical experience, as well as leadership and professional skills.
Our Medical Physics Radiation Therapy Residency program, accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs, focuses on educating medical physicists seeking certification from the American Board of Radiology, as defined by the American College of Radiology.
My research interests have included radiation oncology dosimetry and the analysis and implementation of new treatment methods, including total body irradiation, total skin electron beam therapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
