I am originally from Wisconsin, lived in Boston for 8 years, and am thrilled to be in NY for a year before I jet off to the sunny coast to study Ophthalmology at USC/Doheny. I am in love with my dog, an adorable Boston Terrier named Cheddar (yes, a WI shout-out), running along the east river, and mint-oreo ice cream (try Emack and Bolios on the UES). I was attracted to Memorial Sloan Kettering for the location, the staff, and the transitional year experience. My co-interns are amazing; we all have a ton of fun together. The attendings and ancillary staff at MSKCC are the best in the city and have been very supportive of the educational and clinical experience we have for this year.
